Consolidated Telecommunications Company

Overview: Commercial FTTP deployment in Brainerd and Baxter Minnesota.

 

Scope: Commercial NID, ONT, UPS and Data network installations. Routing drop fiber to phone closets via conduit to NEC standards. Prep and fusion splice premise fiber, Ped splicing and tracing of fiber from CO to PON cabinets. Integrated area schools to new CTC Fiber Optic Network.

 

 

Rural Telephone

Overview: A complete FTTH network upgrade from a video only FTTH network to a new state-of-the-art Triple Play FTTH solution.

Scope: PONtech provided services including removal and replacement of NID and ONT. Premise fusion splicing of new pigtail along with UPS installation and updating of premise wiring to support new triple-play network. Active migration of all customers to new GPON network.

 

 

FTTH Communications

Overview: Termination of services for new greenfield projects in Hugo, Albertville and Rosemont Minnesota.

Scope: Installation of UPS, mounting of NID/ONT, fusion splicing of premise fiber for single family and townhomes. Deployment of IP video solution, activation of voice, video and data services. Termination of Data and Voice network in new multi dwelling unit.

FTTH Installation and Activation Motorola 1000

 

Residential FTTH triple-play deployment in Lexington, SC.

 

  • NID, ONT and UPS installation
  • Prep of drop fiber and fusion splicing of pigtail at premise
  • Integration of existing data networks with new FTTP equipment
  • Activation of subscriber services including computer and HD set-top configuration as well as up-selling enhanced services and educating customers.

  • Site survey of property for proper power ventilation and verification of existing media infrastructure.
  • Installation and activation of racked SMATV system for hotel
  • Testing of new network and operational training of key staff

  • Site Survey of property and installation of racked SMATV network including satellite antenna and cable feed.
  • Design Distribution Network for delivery of new video signal to resident rooms and common areas.

Poplar Bridge Apartments - Bloomington MN

 

Post wire internal network for MA and future SMATV network.

 

  • Design network for two buildings with three floors and 85 units
  • Install commercial HD/VHF/UHF antenna, amplifier and passives
  • Home run coax from splitter panel in attic to units on each floor
  • Fishing all wire internal and supporting two outlets per apartment

Installation of MATV network for six separate building for off air reception.

 

  • Testing of signal at site and installation survey
  • Design distribution network for buildings with diagram and specs
  • Install commercial HD/VHF/UHF antenna and security enclosure on each building
  • Run coax feeds from antenna to amplifier at each building and ground to NEC specs
  • Install feed cable from launch amp to distribution network and test

  • Install UPS and power cord to activate Calix 500 ONT in central Iowa community of 300 homes
  • Install 10/100 switch and run new Cat5e homerun from ONT for Data and IPTV network
  • Run new Cat5e from computer to switch for Data and run Cat5e from Television to switch for IPTV.
  • Migrate Voice and Data to new platform and install set-top box at each television for IPTV
  • Program STB and interface with customer equipment
  • Educate customers on operation of remote and STB
